Enrico Tonucci's Sedialunga cannot be considered as a piece of furniture, but as a philosophical concept. Triangolo and Arte & Cuoio were the beating hearts of Tonucci's thought. Knowledge and love for natural materials, great expertise in dealing with leather and wood essences, constant "desire" to innovate, particular attention to the market and above all to its buyers, all this has always been the basis of these two companies . The basic idea was to place on the market limited series of objects and furniture, rare products, even from a numerical point of view, which would mediate the rigor of the Scandinavian culture then dominant in the field of furniture, with the Mediterranean warmth of our history. Thus was born the Sedialunga, originally created in ash and hemp canvas, a redesign of an ancient African armchair brought back from the war. In it we rediscover flavors of distant lands, journeys and nights in the desert under the stars.
