The history of Sonora is the story of a pure geometric form, pursued by Magistretti throughout his life. The creative path followed by the architect and designer in his projects is in fact an absolutely peculiar path: geometry is his constant companion along the way, the inspiring principle, always and in any case, is simplification. Born in 1976, available in numerous materials and sizes, the Sonora is one of the emblems of this creative journey and has remained, over the course of its 40 years, one of the most loved lamps not only by the public but also by Magistretti himself.
