Since January 2016, following REGULATION (EU) No. 524/2013, the European Commission has activated a platform to help consumers and traders resolve disputes arising from online purchases. The Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform is a one-stop shop where consumers and traders in the European Union can settle disputes arising from purchases made online in their home country or abroad in a non-judicial manner.
