At the beginning of the 1950s BBPR designed the first series of furniture for Arflex intended for public spaces such as waiting rooms and offices. The Elettra armchair is part of it, a combination of modernity and functionality. BBPR, or Banfi, Barbiano, Peressutti and Rogers, were great protagonists of Italian urban planning, who moved in the wake of Rationalism and following in the wake of the master Le Corbusier. Among the numerous buildings designed, the famous Velasca Tower in Milan stands out. Elettra is a piece of design that seems not to know its end. With its elegant linearity it fits discreetly into environments, creating a refined atmosphere. Although Elettra is almost 70 years old, her style is surprisingly contemporary.
