The Story

Mex-Hi by Cassina is the brand new modular and extremely versatile sofa designed by Piero Lissoni. It actually constitutes a further evolution of the best seller Mex Cube, designed by Piero Lissoni. Thanks to the study carried out by Cassina LAB, a collaboration between the Cassina Research and Development Center and the Poli.design of the Polytechnic of Milan, the sofa is made with innovative materials in order to make it comfortable and more sensitive to the environment. The independent cushions rest on a tubular steel frame in a matt anthracite finish, equipped with elastic straps: armrests, backrests and seats. A 100% recycled fibre, obtained from PET largely recovered from the oceans, is introduced into the padding of the cushions.
